Meet Lily

This is Lily, the junior resident cat. She just turned one. Lily came to us from the Washington Humane Society. She enjoys pretty much everything but has a special fondness for chasing hair elastics and drooling profusely when petted. Lily is more commonly known around here as "that owl." As in "that owl is drooling all over my lap."

Hello? Hi?

Oh, hi there. Welcome to my blog. This is a chronicle of multiple adventures, primarily of me learning to blog while fostering cats and kittens who need to find permanent homes. And, hopefully, not adopting too many of said foster cats along the way.

Some basic information: I'm Christina. I live in DC with my fiancé, Jon. We have two cats already, Tilda and Lily. Pictures are forthcoming once I figure out how to make Blogger play nice with my iPad.

Tomorrow, the first foster cat will be arriving courtesy of Tails High, the rescue organization we're working with. He's a young cat by the name of Brownie Two. Hopefully I'll sort out the photo thing shortly so I can post pictures of this guy. Who knows, maybe it will help him find his forever home.
